The Doctors’ reaction to Capaldi?

The Doctors have taken some time off from battling evil throughout all of time and space to comment on Peter Capaldi’s casting.

William Hartnell:  “Hm? What’s that, my boy? Peter Capaldi? Good gracious me!”

Patrick Troughton: “Oh, my giddy aunt! I don’t like it.”

Jon Pertwee: “Oh good grief! Oh no! That’s not me at all.”

Tom Baker:  “I tell you, there’s nothing to worry about! The brontosarus is large and placid!”

Peter Davison: “Well, I’m still not the man I used to be… “

Colin Baker:  “You were expecting someone else?”

Sylvester McCoy: “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Paul McGann: “Who am I? WHO AM I?”

Christopher Eccleston: “Fantastic!”

David Tennant: “I’m sorry. So sorry!”

Matt Smith: “I’m Peter Capaldi now. Peter Capaldi is cool!”

  1. The Seventh Doctor might say “Every great decision creates ripples. Like a huge boulder dropping in a lake. The ripples merge and rebound off the banks in unforseeable ways. The heavier the decision, the larger the waves, the more uncertain the consequences.”
